Listen the food here is so flavorful and so delicious it’s insane. My fiancé and I tried this for the first time over a year ago and have been coming back since. I’m a OTR truck driver so I don’t get to come as often but whenever I do it tastes just as it did the very first time I tried them which to me shows consistency and attention to detail. I leave every time saying the same thing “I should”ve got 2 plates”. The food is always fresh every single time. If I could eat here every day I promise you I would. Make sure to try the chicken over rice dish 10 out of 10!!!

I don’t leave reviews often, but this food truck deserves all five stars and more. From the moment I walked up, I was greeted with friendly, welcoming service—and the food? Next level. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice, and everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The meats were tender and juicy, the rice was aromatic and fluffy, and the fresh toppings (lettuce, tomato, onions) were crisp and clean. The white sauce is creamy and addictive, and the hot sauce is spicy with real depth—not just heat for the sake of it. Portion sizes are huge for the price, and you can tell they care about both quality and presentation. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and probably the best I’ve had from any food truck. Service was fast, efficient, and super friendly. You can feel the pride they take in their food—and it shows in every bite. If you’re craving halal Mediterranean food that hits every mark—flavor, freshness, service, and value—this is the spot. EXCELLENT!!! If you have to be in Port Newark Halal Food is worth trying. I tried on a whim one day and it’s my go to lunch truck when I’m in the area. I’d even go when I’m not in the area. Also the owners, husband and wife, are very kind and willing to fix your order just as you specify. This is a good one

I’m a truck driver and everyone I’m up here passing thru Jersey I stop here!!!! The food is unmatched I usually get the Lamb over Rice! Luna is so kind and inviting it makes every stop worth it!!!!

I love coming here on my break. It doesn't matter what you get from the menu, they cook all of it with love and you can taste it. God bless you for always having fresh food!!
